  We are very proud of Casa Mermaid.  This has been a work in progress for the past 6 years.

Jim our English speaking manager and ROLANDO our pool and maintenance man are very diligent and takes utmost pride in greeting our guests, introducing you to the casa and helping make your stay the best vacation you have ever had. 

NORA our maid will come around 9:30 just in case you like to sleep in a little. She is a very hard worker and will attempt to please you in every way.  If you would like Nora to do your laundry or that special little task, just ask, she is learning to speak  English.  She will iron your clothes if you like or come every day for a small additional fee.

Cancellation Policy  If you cancel within two weeks of your arrival date for any reason, except a natural disaster,you will be refunded your full deposit provided the week is re-rented. If not a portion of your deposit will be held for cancellation.

Cancellation within two weeks of your rental arrival date NO refund will be given.

In the event of a hurricane and the home is not safe you will be given a full refund or transfer deposit to another date.

 DIRECTIONS from Cancun International Airport

As you exit the Airport head SOUTH, toward Telum & Playa Del Carmen  you will be on Route 307.

Continue for about 10 miles

When you see the first sign that says PUERTO MORELOS get into your left lane, you will be taking a LEFT at the only traffic light.

Continue 1/4 mile, you will come to the town of PUERTO MORELOS.

Go to the second LEFT after the Police Station on you Left, this will be AV. JAVIER ROJO GOMEZ

Continue  for 4 blocks you will see CASA MERMAID  on your left side, continue to the end of the street and turn back. Parking is allowed on both sides of the street.

HOUSE KEYS

Casa Mermaid has two lock boxes, one outside the gate with a key to open the gate and one inside near the front door. This has come in handy in case you have many guests, No need for lots of sets of Keys.

If you loose the keys There is a $20 fee, or you can have another set made yourself. The key man is on the first street  Av Nenos Hereos.

If you take the keys home Please let me know and mail them to me in the US.

 I purchased Casa Mermaid in 2003 after a one month stay in Puerto Morelos. I fell in love with the town and its charm. The Casa was in much needed repair.  We added a pool and had our furniture shipped down from our home in Florida by barge. It has been quite an experiance. I have made many friends and love to share my little peice of Paradise  with friends,family and others.
